It’s October – are YOU ready for Fall “4” Math?

DAEG is again co-sponsoring a program with the elementary schools called Fall “4” Math to demonstrate how much fun math can be!  Students will be encouraged to play math games at home with their parents, siblings and friends for two weeks – October 17^th – October 28th.  These games will focus on developing logical thinking, spatial reasoning, critical problem solving, and even math fact skills! 

We are asking that you log onto the DarienSchoolwebsite at www.darienps.org/mathmadness/ to find grade-appropriate links and games developed by the district.  Also included is a list of board games that you may already own that have more math in them than you think.  Simply follow the directions for the game, complete the Play Log and have fun! 

Please have your child return their Play Logs to school on Monday, October 24th and Monday, October 31st.
